Insurance & Out-of-Network
I am not in-network with insurance plans and do not bill insurance directly.
Out-of-network clients may be eligible for partial reimbursement from their insurance. In some cases, services like Thrizer can help reduce upfront costs by allowing clients to pay only their estimated out-of-pocket responsibility.
If you plan to use out-of-network benefits, it may be helpful to contact your insurance provider and ask:
Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits? Am I able to use these benefits for Telehealth?
What is my deductible, and how much has been met this year?
What percentage of outpatient psychotherapy sessions are covered per session?
Is reimbursement available for services provided by a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT)?
How much will I be reimbursed for a 45 minute psychotherapy session (CPT code: 90834)?
Do I need pre-authorization or a referral?
How do I submit claims, and what documentation is required?
How long does it take for me to receive reimbursement?
Superbills & Payment
I can provide a monthly superbill upon request, which you may submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
Payment is due at the time of service. Payment is accepted via credit, debit, HSA/FSA cards, and electronic payment.
Sliding Scale
I reserve a limited number of sliding scale spots for those who may need reduced-fee support; please reach out to inquire about current availability.
Cancellation Policy
Sessions cancelled with less than 24-hour notice, or missed appointments, are subject to the full session fee.
